Elon Musk Breaks His Silence on Twitter
Elon Musk broke his nine-day silence Friday night on Twitter (NYSE:TWTR), the social media platform he is trying to buy for $44 billion, and posted a photo of himself meeting with Pope Francis on Thursday.
The world's richest person tweeted a photo of himself standing next to the Pope and captioned it, "Honored to meet @pontifex yesterday."

Musk's four teenage sons are also pictured, but not his 18-year-old transgender daughter, who tried to change her name and cut ties with him on June 20. Musk has eight children in total.
The purpose and location of Musk's meeting with the Pope was not immediately clear.
Last month, Musk said there were "several issues still unresolved" in the deal to buy Twitter, including the number of spam users in the system and the debt portion of the deal coming together.
