HSBC enters the metaverse with The Sandbox. Banking giant decided to collaborate with The Sandbox.
The
Sandbox, one of the popular metaverse projects, announced on its Twitter account that it has formed a partnership with banking giant HSBC for the developments in the metaverse. The Sandbox provides many opportunities to interact with the global financial services and sports communities in the metaverse.
With this
partnership, HSBC has purchased a virtual plot to be developed in the metaverse to entertain sports, e-sports, gaming and finance professionals. Suresh Balaji, Marketing Manager for HSBC Asia-Pacific, made the following statement on the subject:
“The Metaverse is how people experience the next generation of the Internet, the Web3, using immersive technologies such as virtual reality, and augmented reality.
