Iran will Continue Negotiations on the Nuclear Agreement

Iran will continue negotiations on the nuclear agreement. Mohammad Islami, head of the Iran Atomic Energy Agency (IAEK), made a statement.

Iran Atomic Energy Agency (IAEK) President Mohammad Islami said that experts from the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) can replace the memory cards of security cameras in nuclear facilities. IAEA Director Rafael Grossi, who came to Iran's capital Tehran with Islami, held a joint press conference after their meeting. Explaining that they had a "good and constructive" meeting with Grossi, Islami stated that they decided to attend the IAEA Executive Board meeting and continue the negotiations. Stating that they discussed technical issues and political issues were not on the agenda, Islami said that they agreed that Grossi would visit Tehran again in a short time. Islam used the following statements: "It has been decided that IAEA experts will come to Iran for the memory cards of the security cameras at the nuclear facilities and do the necessary technical procedures. They will seal the memory cards in the security cameras and insert new cards. Trust is important to us. The trust between Iran and the IAEA must be maintained." Stating that he will come back to Tehran after the IAEA Executive Board meeting to be held in Vienna in 2 weeks and Iran will attend, Grossi said, "This is one of the most important events in the nuclear field in the world. It is important that the Agency continues its technical equipment studies in Iran, and this is the case with the Agency. It is considered an important guarantee for the world.” In the joint statement issued after the meeting, it was stated that IAEA inspectors were allowed to serve in designated equipment that would be kept under joint IAEK and IAEA seals, and to exchange memory cards.
