Jim Carrey Launches his 2nd NFT Collection!
Goon in Moonlight is a multimedia mash-up featuring Jim Carrey's skills in the art of drawing, painting, digital animation, writing and vocal accomplishment. Carrey made the statement after press time with the NFT on Monday. 'Goon, the inevitable moonlight romance Goon, is doomed to distract from the memories of missed romances and the misery of shame that can turn any of us into something disgusting in our minds,' he said in a statement.
In June, Jim Carrey released his first NFT, Sunshower, as a super rare. The digital artwork was created in collaboration with filmmaker David Bushell. In addition, the work was created on his painting of the same name. It traded for about 105,000 USD (about 62.04 Ethereum) with 21 bids. The proceeds were donated to Feeding America, a non-profit organization with a national network of over 200 food banks. The buyer, known as deekaymotion in the Metaverse, is a South Korean producer, animator and executive based in New York City.
SuperRare co-producer and CEO John Crain spoke on the matter. 'We are delighted with Jim Carrey's collection at SuperRare,' said Crain. 'As a visionary artist and actor, it's incredible to recognize the evolution of his career'. Bidding for Goon In Moonlight began last night at 10:00 p.m. Turkish time.
