Joe Biden made statements stating that he would not back down and apologize for his words, "This man should not stay in power" for Russian President Vladimir Putin. Answering the questions of the press after the statements at the White House, Biden said, "I am not taking a step back on this issue. I was expressing my anger at Putin's barbaric actions. I made this statement shortly after meeting with Ukrainian families. I wasn't talking about any regime change here. Also, I will not apologize for these words."
Expressing that the United States is not trying to remove Putin from his seat. He underlined that bad guys like Putin should not stay in power. Biden said, "He should not stay in power. Bad people shouldn't be able to keep doing bad things. But that doesn't mean we're trying to take down Putin somehow. No one will believe it."
When asked about nuclear weapons, 79-year-old President Joe Biden said, "I'm not going to tell you that. It would be very stupid. The world wants to know many things. However, if I say this, Russia will know our answer," and he left the chemical weapons question unanswered.
It has been recorded that Russia has completed 33 days since the beginning of its occupation of Ukraine.
