Notable Purchase from cryptocurrency exchange FTX. Nassau, Bahamas-based cryptocurrency exchange FTX has announced that it has acquired Canadian cryptocurrency exchange Bitvo. It was learned that the acquisition was a result of the expansion policy in North America. In the statement made by FTX, it was stated that the acquisition will be completed in the third quarter of 2022. Thus, Bitvo's workforce will be fully included in FTX's global annex. The notable move by FTX comes after FTX US President Brett Harrison announced that it will prioritize buying regulated crypto companies.
