OpenSea Delisted Some Azuki NFTs! What's Happening?

Some of the well-known Azuki NFTs from NFT collections have been delisted by OpenSea. With this news, Azuki NFT ended the week with bad news. The reason has not yet been confirmed as users can no longer participate in NFT sales from the marketplace.

Azuki users have reported that some of their NFTs have been removed from the OpenSea marketplace. Friday evening was pretty bad for Azuki NFT. Azuki is a community of 10,000 anime-style characters pegged on the Ethereum network (ERC-27). It aims to strengthen the connection between the Physical and Metaverse. According to a statement by the team, the crypto-based organization announced that they reached out to OpenSea regarding the delisting of emails sent to Azuki holders. Azuki users need to be patient while the management awaits a response to relist the digital assets. Investigations revealed that the incident happened in the same way as what happened to Bored Ape Yacht Club. In June, BAYC faced the same problem on OpenSea. The decentralized NFT Marketplace had made a mistake by temporarily removing some Bored Apes from the platform. The crypto-based organization later explained to its users that they had resolved the issue and were working hand in hand with the digital marketplace to ensure it didn't happen again. Delisting is a critical disadvantage for an organization, as all assets are removed from an exchange and cannot be traded. However, assets can be traded from other decentralized locations. In this case, access for Azuki users to buy and sell their NFTs on the OpenSea marketplace is currently not possible. It is a significant issue as it could result in customer churn and thus lead to a market capitalization drop for the organization. It is considered that the issue will be resolved as a matter of urgency. Bug Fixed with Latest Update! OpenSea reported in a statement that there was a bug in the security flagging system. The failed moment caused several Azuki NFTs to be delisted on their platform. However, there was a quick reaction to resolve the complications. Within a short time, the NFTs were relisted. They also announced that they had communicated directly with the NFT collection. Azuki later confirmed that the technical issue was resolved and the listing was reinstated.
