Papa John's Will Distribute NFTs To Its Customers
Papa John's, one of the actors of the famous Bitcoin pizza order in 2010, will distribute NFTs to its customers.
With the rapid adoption of the
NFT concept, many brands have worked in this field and continue to do so. A similar move also came from pizza chain Papa John's. The giant pizza chain is preparing to distribute NFTs for its UK customers.
Pizza chain Papa John's plans to distribute its collection of 19,840 NFTs printed on the Tezos (XTZ) network to its customers. The NFTs in question were designed in the form of pizza delivery bags.
As a reminder,
Papa John's has previously launched a campaign where customers who spend over £30 can earn £10 worth of Bitcoin (BTC).
The UK's Advertising Standards Authority described the campaign as "irresponsible" as it downplayed the investment. After this decision, the ads in question were removed.
Finally, Papa John's actually has an important place for the crypto community thanks to previous events. It was one of the parties of the famous Bitcoin pizza sale of years ago. In 2010, a user bought 2 Papa John's pizzas for 10,000 BTC. At that time 10,000 BTC was worth about $41, today it is worth $ 385 million.
