Reddit Distributes NFTs to Its Users!

Social media app Reddit is giving away free Polygon Blockchain NFTs to its most loyal users. Last month, they released the 'Collectible Avatars' collection. They also allowed users who were not eligible for the airdrop to purchase the collection. With this move, Reddit is getting closer to the Blockchain, crypto and NFT space.

Collectible Avatars will airdrop avatars to top community builders for free. The post was published 9 days ago. Airdrops have been happening since the day the post was published. There are also 4 different avatar styles for users to choose from. In short, users must reach a minimum amount of goals in order to qualify. Goals on Reddit are a reflection of how important your contribution is to the community. Users can reach goals in several ways. These are, respectively, posting, commenting, and giving rewards. People in the Reddit community often joke that NFTs are 'fake internet hotspots'. However, Reddit is moving towards finding benefits for it through this Reddit NFT airdrop. Users will be notified if they qualify for the Reddit airdrop. However, the required target amount was not disclosed at the time of the announcement. Currently, Polygon-based NFTs are now available for sale on OpenSea. The base price of 16,000 NFTs is 0.012 ETH at the time of writing. Reddit has been a big supporter of NFTs for some time.
