Russian Government Decided To Impose Sanctions To European Union Administrators

The Russian government has decided to impose sanctions to top executives of the European Union (EU).

The statement said, "Sanctions are directed at the EU's top executives, including the directors of the EU's military structures and EU commissioners." In addition, the vast majority of deputies in the European Parliament who promote anti-Russian policies are also subject to sanctions. A decision was taken by the Russian Foreign Ministry to impose sanctions on EU administrators. In this decision, it was underlined that the EU's sanctions policy against Russia crossed all borders. It was stated in the decision that Brussels subject Russian citizens and companies to unilateral sanctions massively and arbitrarily, disregarding all applicable international law norms, and that the personal data of these people were made public. In the statement, it was stated that the decisions taken by the European Union not only put the relations with Russia to a dead end, but also laid the groundwork for major problems by jeopardizing the welfare, security, and stability of the global, financial and economic system of its own citizens. It was noted that the representatives of the EU structure were included in the sanctions list. Statement said, “Sanctions are directed at the EU's top executives, including the directors of the EU's military structures and EU commissioners. In addition, the vast majority of MPs in the European Parliament who promote anti-Russian policies are also subject to sanctions. Russia's response blacklist also includes heads of government and parliament of some EU member states, public figures and media workers inciting anti-Russian sentiment.”
