Temporary Tax Exemption Decision on Gasoline from US President Joe Biden
According to data from the American Automobile Association (AAA), the average price of gasoline in the country rose to a record high compared to last year. The President of the United States of America, Joe Biden, stated that they may soon declare a temporary exemption on the federal gasoline tax in order to combat the prices that affect the whole world.
President Joe Biden, asked whether he will provide a temporary tax exemption on gasoline taxes to combat rising gasoline prices in the country, said, “I am considering this. I hope to make a data-based decision. We will reach a decision on this matter by the end of this week.”
Speaking about whether he will visit Ukraine, which is occupied by Russia, President Biden said that it depends and is being evaluated on security and how positive the results of the visit will be.
Joe Biden added that Ukraine is not on the program during his visit to Europe next week.
When asked about Ukraine's membership to the European Union (EU), Biden replied, "This membership is very likely to happen."
