The US stock market fell after news that the White House and Congress had not reached a breakthrough in negotiations on further economic stimulus. House Democrat Nancy Pelosi said the talks had progressed in talks with President Donald Trump's administration and she believed they would continue. However, even a possible compromise could come across the Senate's disapproval before the upcoming presidential elections, the AP agency warns. Industrial manufacturers and companies operating in the healthcare sector lost the most, which outweighed the profits in the communications sector.
