The value of the US dollar continues to rise.
US dollar, the most widely used currency in world trade, continues to gain strength against the leading currencies due to the risk aversion in the markets. The US dollar, which has appreciated against the Turkish lira for 11 consecutive days, was recorded as a level above 14.82 in the first hours of the morning.
The balance sheets of technological corporations boosted global stock markets, but cautious trading was seen due to Europe's energy crisis and China's protracted lockdown. The dollar rose to a 20-year high as investors flocked to safe assets and bond yields.
The greenback continued to strengthen against major currencies. Dollar Index gained 0.4 more in the morning hours and reached 103.43 level. The US dollar, which also rose against the Turkish Lira, was traded above 14.82 as of this morning.
