Zelensky Says Blockade Could Cause Grain Crisis
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky announced that Russia's blockade in the Black Sea could cause millions of tons of grain loss.
Providing information on the latest situation in the war, President of Ukraine Zelensky announced that the blockade implemented by Russia in the Black Sea may cause a grain crisis.
Zelensky, who was connected to the 60 Minutes program broadcast on Australian television via video conference, said that he knows that Russia controls the Black Sea and does not allow ships to enter and exit.
Stating that the embargo imposed by Russia could have serious consequences,
Zelensky noted wthat millions of tons of grain could be lost and this could lead to a food crisis in Europe, Asia and Africa.
Zelensky went on to say that Russia does not want to stop there and intends to entirely block the Ukrainian economy.
