Enerjisa Üretim’s IPO is being discussed.
Sabancı Holding CFO Barış Oran announced that they will discuss the public offering of Enerjisa Enerji Üretim with the management of their partner E.ON. Speaking at the holding's online press conference, Oran stated that it is the priority of the company to start dividend payments and that the public offering will be on the agenda from now on.
In the previous period, Sabancı Holding CEO Cenk Alper stated that they gave priority to creating a company that could pay dividends and debt reduction rather than public offering.
CEO Cenk Alper stated the following regarding the issue:
“Our priority is the restructuring of Enerjisa's debts ... Secondly, before the public offering, we need to make Enerjisa Üretim pay dividends. These two are also the demands of both partners. And we still have concerns about Turkish and Global markets. At the point we have agreed with our partner, we have the possibility to do it here as in Enerjisa Enerji, but the priority is to continue production with a healthy debt structure and to pay healthy dividends. So are not putting public offering first.”
