Erdogan: Berat Albayrak’s Title Of Groom Was Put Before His Efforts
In his speech, President and AK Party Chairman Recep Tayyip Erdogan said, “Berat Albayrak’s title of groom has been put before his efforts.”
President and AK Party Chairman Recep Tayyip Erdoğan made a speech at his party’s Izmir 7th Ordinary Provincial Congress held Halkapınar Sports Hall.
Commenting on former Treasury and Finance Minister Berat Albayrak, Erdoğan reacted to the CHP and said:
“Recently, the CHP and its co-founders have been conducting a campaign targeting my former Treasury and Finance Minister Berat Albayrak along with my whole family and myself. We have ignored dealing with the delusions of the CHP executives, whose stances we do not understand, for the good of the country and the nation. Now, when this business goes beyond the political dimension, and it attacks fundamental rights and freedom of our family, it became obligatory for us to give a response. ”
Erdoğan continued his words about Berat Albayrak as follows:
“This is the purpose of speeding up the campaign regarding Berat Albayrak and our person. We know that their troubles are not the country and the nation, they will continue to impose the scenario in their minds and the mission assigned to them. I would like to tell about the attacks our country has experienced in the economy as a result of our respect to our nation and the city of Izmir.
Berat Albayrak was at the forefront of this struggle. His biggest misfortune is that the title of the groom has been put in front of his accumulation and effort in these areas. If he had done these things as a politician, I think his evaluations about him would be more objective. Berat Albayrak has the signature of many achievements of our country, from the acquisition of our drilling ships to mining, which discovered natural gas in the Black Sea. They are mad because he achieved these. Now we have 5 ships, the 6th is on the way. ”
“We Have 95 Billion Dollars of Foreign Exchange Reserve …”
President Erdogan made the following comments about the foreign exchange reserve:
“They are fraudulent. Currently, the Central Bank’s foreign exchange reserve has been reset to zero, it has fallen below zero. When we took office, we had 27.5 billion dollars of foreign exchange reserves. Now, we have 95 billion dollars of foreign exchange reserves. This foreign exchange reserve has increased up to 132 billion dollars during my presidency. Then we decreased to 95 billion dollars. We will go up again to 132 and to 200. Because we know our job.
We are in solidarity with each other, we can take care of our own business. We currently have 95 billion dollars of foreign exchange reserves. In 2020, marked by the global health crisis, world economies that experienced shocks on both the supply and demand sides were deeply shaken. Berat Albayrak will also seek his right in the judiciary as of today. Likewise, I have filed many lawsuits, and I won every case I filed.
Erdoğan continued his words as follows:
“We also know what they are doing when we inform them about the most critical issues. I would like to clarify the issue of foreign exchange reserve for our citizens who may be confused. They had to take measures against the financial fluctuations in the international arena because of the epidemic. Planned and controlled foreign exchange transactions were carried out. There is neither the evaporation of foreign exchange nor unfair gain. Thanks to these foreign exchange transactions, our country has managed to adhere to its targets in the international arena. “
