Erdogan pointed to May 17 for normalization. President Erdogan made a statement on controlled normalization.
President Recep Tayyip Erdogan made some statements within the scope of the measures to combat the coronavirus outbreak after May 17.
Answering the questions of press members after the Friday prayer, President Erdogan made the following statements:
"We are starting to implement our controlled normalization calendar as of Monday. Our intention is to continue to act relatively cautiously until the end of May. We plan to relax the measures significantly in June to make daily life more comfortable."
No Change in Calendar
President Erdogan pointed out the post-Ramadan Feast in his statement on May 12 and made similar statements.
In Erdogan's message shared on the Turkish Presidency Twitter account, the following statements were included:
"We will use every necessary method against the threat of the epidemic, especially the vaccine. We act with the awareness that this is a difficult test. Hopefully, we are taking the normalization steps in a controlled manner after the holiday by taking the epidemic under control."
