Erdoğan: We Are Taking Important Steps In The Economy President and AK Party Chairman Recep Tayyip Erdoğan spoke at the 7th Ordinary Provincial Congress said “we are taking important steps in the economy". President and AK Party Chairman Recep Tayyip Erdoğan attended his party's 7th Ordinary Provincial Congress held at the Van Atatürk City Stadium. Speaking at the congress, President Erdoğan used the following statements:  

“We respond to those who try to besiege our economy with a new economic liberation war. In the economy, we are taking steps as important as ensuring our political freedom. We spoil the games of those who have exploited this country for years by squeezing this country into the triangle of interest, exchange rate and inflation. This is why those who see them come to the end of the road now attack with all their might. The major structural change in the economy is as important as the abolition of capitulations. As with all other areas of the economy in 2023 will be revealed in a completely different Turkey. For this, I expect a little more patience, a little more steadiness and effort from our nation.”
