Ethereum, one of the popular cryptocurrencies, increased by 75 percent. This performance of ETH surpassed Bitcoin.

Ethereum, the second largest cryptocurrency in the world, gained 75 percent. ETH's performance in 2021 surpassed Bitcoin. ETH value is increased by 75 percent this year, while BTC has seen a limited rise from 20 percent. Ethereum blockchain is used in many decentralized finance applications. Applications known as "DeFi" prepare financial functions on digital records called blockchains. In this way, users can perform lending and borrowing transactions without the need for a traditional intermediary such as banks. However, they can also earn interest income. Another stage in the bull market could be the strong performance of lesser known altcoins than BTC. When the performance in 2021 is examined, Ethereum has gained 75 percent against Bitcoin's limited rise of 20 percent. Since the first months of 2020, Bitcoin has gained 500 percent, while the rise in Ethereum has been recorded as 1,000 percent.
