EU will Lift Travel Restrictions on Vaccinated People
The EU will lift travel restrictions on vaccinated people. The European Union (EU) has announced that work has been initiated on the subject.
The
European Union (EU) announced that they have started a study to lift travel restrictions for people who have had a coronavirus (Covid-19) vaccine.
In the statement made by the European Commission, it was reported that studies were carried out to stretch people vaccinated against coronavirus during their non-urgent travel to the EU.
The study set a condition for non-urgent entry into the EU "to come from countries in a good epidemiological situation" and to have vaccines approved by the EU.
Member states will have the right to extend this right to people who have vaccines that have been urgently approved by the World Health Organization (WHO).
European Medicines Agency, the authorized regulatory body of the EU, had approved the emergency use of Biontech-Pfizer, Moderna,
AstraZeneca and Janssen vaccines.
