According to breaking economic news, the Euro Zone shrank by 4.3 percent in the third quarter compared to 2019, and experienced 12.5 percent growth compared to the previous quarter.
It was stated that exports contributed the most on a quarterly basis to the growth data that came in line with the expectations of economists. The
Euro Zone grew by 7.6 percent compared to the previous quarter due to the base effect of exports, while it decreased by 4.2 percent compared to the same quarter of 2019.
Imports, on the other hand, decreased by 5.2 percent compared to the second quarter, and rose 3.9 percent compared to the third quarter of last year.
