European stock markets ended with a decline on Thursday 13 August, shortly before the new week. At the close, the indicator index Stoxx Europe 600 fell 0.63 percent to 372.53 points.
In the UK, the FTSE 100 index lost 1.5 percent to 6,185.62 points, in Germany the DAX 30 index decreased by 0.5 percent to 12,993.71 points, in France the CAC 40 index decreased by 0.61 percent to 5,042.38 points, and In Italy, the FTSE MIB 30 index fell 0.88 percent to 20,257.31 points.
