European Stock Markets Closed The Day With An Increase
European stock markets closed the day with an increase, with the exception of the UK. The recovery in risk perception positively reflected on European stock markets.
Exchanges closed the day with an increase except for the
FTSE 100 index, with the positive reflection of the strong purchasing managers index coming from the Euro Zone and the improvement in the risk perception of investors.
At the end of the day, the benchmark index Stoxx Europe 600 increased by 0.57 percent and reached 444.44 points.
In Germany, the DAX 30 index gained 0.44 percent to 15,437.51 points, in France the CAC 40 index increased by 0.68 percent to 6,386.41 points, in Italy the FTSE MIB 30 index increased by 1.10 percent. It increased to 24.975,00 points.
However, in the UK, the FTSE 100 index decreased by 0.02 percent and fell to 7.018.05 points.
The compound purchasing managers index (PMI) in the Eurozone rose from 53.8 to 56.9 in May.
