European Stock Markets Completed the Day Positively
European stock markets except the FTSE 100 index completed the day positively. Stock markets completed the day with the optimism of investors regarding the application of the vaccine used to combat the coronavirus epidemic, with earnings except the UK FTSE 100 index.
European exchanges closed Monday with investors focusing on the implementation of the vaccine developed to combat the coronavirus epidemic.
At the close, the benchmark index Stoxx Europe 600 gained 0.20 percent to 397.28 points.
In the UK, the FTSE 100 index declined by 0.22 percent to 6,720.65 points, in Germany the DAX 30 index gained 0.44 percent to 13,848.35 points, in France the CAC 40 index increased by 0.1 percent to 5,617.27. The FTSE MIB 30 index in Italy rose by 0.53 percent to 22,498.89 points.

Carrefour lost nearly 7 percent today, after Canadian company Alimentation Couche-Tard announced that it had withdrawn its purchase offer.
