U.S. Federal Reserve Extends Loan Programs
U.S. Federal Reserve extends its loan programs. It was reported that the period was extended until March 31, 2021.
In the statement made by the US Federal Reserve (
FED), it was noted that it was decided to extend the duration of the loan programs previously planned to expire on December 31.
Accordingly, is was stated that the duration of the four loan programs was extended until March 31, included the following statements:
“The extension, approved by the Ministry of Treasury, will facilitate planning by potential loan facility participants and ensure that these loan facilities will continue to be used until the first quarter of 2021 to help the economy survive the Covid-19 outbreak.”
It was stated that the liquidity activities of the US Federal Reserve (FED) continue to support the functioning of the markets and the provision of loans.
