FIBA Established a Partnership with Bitci Teknoloji
FIBA established a partnership with Bitci Teknoloji. Bitci Teknoloji will participate in FIBA as a Global Partner.
Bitci Teknoloji and the International Basketball Federation (FIBA), one of the world's leading blockchain companies, have entered into a special cooperation. Within the scope of the agreement covering the 2021-2023 period, Bitci Teknoloji will join FIBA as a Global Partner.
Global partnership Bitci for both men and women including FIBA Continental Cups, FIBA Junior World Cups, FIBA Women's Basketball World Cup 2022 and FIBA's summit event, FIBA Basketball World Cup in 2023 will provide significant commercial rights in all FIBA competitions, including Exclusive rights to these events will also include offering premium brand visibility on the pitch and exclusive sponsorship rights for selected FIBA qualifying competitions.
FIBA, the basketball governing body, which is among the most followed international sports federations on social media, will also develop a fan token project with Bitci Teknoloji in line with its strategy of providing basketball fans with new technologies and innovative solutions. Details of the token project will be announced in the coming months.
The tokens to be sold on Bitci.com will give basketball fans around the world the right to vote and participate in polls for different competitions and challenges. Fans will have some special benefits in licensed product sales, such as access to special areas reserved for token holders and advantageous ticket options.
Within the scope of the cooperation, FIBA and Bitci Teknoloji will also prepare special digital collections for sports fans, including NFTs (non-fungible tokens), which are among the most popular crypto assets.
