First Statement From New CBRT President The first statement came from the new CBRT President. CBRT President Naci Ağbal made his statement in writing. Naci Ağbal, who took over from Murat Uysal and became the new head of the CBRT, made a written statement. In his statement, Ağbal stated that the current situation will be reviewed until the Monetary Policy Committee meeting on November 19, and stated that all policy tools will be used decisively.   In the first statement of the new CBRT Governor Naci Ağbal, the following statements were made: “Our main goal is to provide the Central Bank of the Republic of Turkey and maintaining price stability. All policy tools will be used decisively in line with the main objective of price stability. In monetary policy, communication will be strengthened within the framework of transparency, accountability and predictability principles. Until the Monetary Policy Committee meeting dated 19 November 2020, the current situation and expectations were reviewed and the developments were followed closely; Necessary policy decisions will be made in the light of the data and evaluations to be formed.”   Meeting with Bank Managers The new CBRT President Naci Ağbal had a meeting with bank managers immediately after taking office. Meeting with the bank's general managers on Sunday, Ağbal listened to and evaluated the opinions of the market's needs, from its active ratio to the monetary policy expectations of the sector.
