Foreigners Headed for Sale in Shares
According to the data announced by the CBRT, foreigners have turned to selling shares since the week of February 5th.
According to the current data announced by the Central Bank of the Republic of Turkey (
CBRT), foreigners are headed for a sale in shares.
Foreign investors, who have been on the sales side since the week of February 5, made net sales of $183 million.
Despite the sale in
shares, foreigners were on the net buyer side on bonds. As of the week of February 5th, foreigners' net bond purchases have been recorded as 141 million dollars.
Following these figures announced by the CBRT, in the week of February 5th, foreigners realized a net sales of 43 million dollars.
With the announcement of the figures for the trading week ending on February 5, it was revealed that foreigners had net sales of $ 475.5 million on the share side since January 1, 2021, while purchasing more than $ 1 billion in bonds.
