Grant Support Application Extended for Tradesmen in Turkey
The application for grant support has been extended for tradesmen in Turkey. The date has been extended until 11:59 PM on Thursday, July 1, 2021.
According to the decision taken as a result of the intense demand from the tradesmen, the grant support application was extended.
Minister of Trade Mehmet Muş announced the news in a post on his Twitter account. Minister Muş said, "We have extended the deadline for the applications on grant support of 3 thousand and 5 thousand TL given to our
tradesmen, craftsmen and merchants by our Ministry until Thursday, July 1, 2021, at 11:59 pm."
In the previous statement made by the Ministry of Commerce, it was stated that 188 thousand 194 people would receive a grant of 5 thousand TL and 843 thousand 683 people would receive a grant of 3 thousand TL, which will be given in the order of applications. In total, 3.5 billion lira grant support will be paid to 1 million 31 thousand 877 people.
In the first group, there will be places such as cafes, tea gardens, school and staff services, wedding halls, student dormitories, canteens, stationery, internet cafes, baths, amusement parks, while a one-time grant of 5 thousand lira will be paid to these enterprises.
Second group consists of those who deal with maintenance, repairs, bodywork, peddlers, plumbers, hardware stores, musicians, car washes, dry cleaners, toys, cosmetics and souvenirs sellers, glaziers, locksmiths, coppersmiths, tinsmiths, shoemakers, confectioners, milliners, glassware and course operators.
