Horizon Kinetics highlighted the importance of Bitcoin. The company drew attention to cryptocurrencies to hedge against inflation.

Described as one of the most successful fund managers of this year in the USA, Horizon Kinetics highlighted real estate, land and cryptocurrencies in order to protect itself from the increasing inflation in the country. The fund management firm, which has $7 billion in assets under management and was founded by Murray Stahl, Steven Bregman and Peter Doyle, expressed its concern about the increasing debt burden in the world. One of the founders, Peter Doyle, made comments on the subject in a statement to the Financial Times. Doyle said: "After the pandemic, there's no turning back on this business. It will either default or the money will become worthless. The best long-term investors are always those whose portfolios are diverse and don't change too much. These people let the companies they buy into grow." Speaking about Bitcoin, Doyle made the following statements: “At a time when the value of money is being lost and this is being talked about openly, the limited supply of Bitcoin has to have a premium. People should buy this asset. We do not offer funds for everyone to invest in. Investors should give at least 3-5 years. This is our investment philosophy. Just as the companies we invest in are long-term, we want our investors to think long-term.” The company's two funds returned more than 50 percent to their investors in 2021 as a result of the long-term purchase, despite the recent declines in cryptocurrencies. The Kinetics Small Cap fund brought a profit of 58.74 percent, and the Kinetics Spin-Off and Corp Rest fund brought a profit of 56.58%.
