Huobi May Re-Enter The US Market
Huobi may re-enter the US market. Huobi CEO Du Jun stated that they will comply with US laws.
Huobi, one of the world's leading cryptocurrency exchanges, plans to re-enter the US market to comply with regulations. Huobi CEO Du Jun said in a statement that they will continue their activities in the USA after a two-year hiatus.

Huobi announced that it was withdrawing from the US market 2 years ago to comply with the regulations. In a statement made today, the exchange stated that they are planning to re-enter the US market. In addition, Huobi CEO made the following statements regarding the subject:
"We tried to enter the US market in 2018, but at that time we quickly pulled back because we didn't have a strong commitment to the market and a good management team in the US."
In addition, stating that Huobi does not consider it a necessary element to enter the US, CEO Du Jun said, "I expect asset management to be a bigger business than the stock market, which also reflects the traditional financial market."
Du Jun did not share any clear information about which area Huobi would focus on first in its re-entry to the US. Also, according to CoinGecko, Huobi, one of the 10 largest cryptocurrency exchanges by global trading volume, is thought to be a competitor to Coinbase in the US. Finally, Huobi is looking into establishing a headquarters in Europe, in addition to the United States.
