Besim Tibuk, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Net Holding, has started negotiations to acquire a 10 percent stake in Mavi Gök Aviation.

Net Holding, where the former chairman of the Liberal Democratic Party and businessman Besim Tibuk is the chairman of the board of directors, announced that they have started negotiations with Mavi Gök Aviation to buy 10 percent shares. Evaluating the flights to be launched by Mavi Gök Aviation to Ercan Airport, Hande Tibuk, Managing Director and General Coordinator of Net Holding, announced that negotiations have started for the purchase of 10 percent shares. In her statement, Hande Tibuk also mentioned Net Holding's past aviation activities and drew attention to the importance of Mavi Gök flights to Ercan for the "embargoed" Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus. Tibuk stated the following: "The unjust isolation of Northern Cyprus has severely restricted transportation for years. The development of transportation is essential for the development of both trade and tourism, in short, all economic activities. The more airlines organize flights to our island, the faster the island's economy will develop. We believe that Mavi Gök Aviation's flights to Northern Cyprus, which will start on November 15, are very valuable for the economic development of Northern Cyprus. As Net Holding, we have left 48 years behind. With the experience of being the leader of many tourism investments, we know that airline investment is also very heavy and high-risk, and with this awareness, we are putting our hands under the stone for the development of Northern Cyprus as we have done so far, and we inform the public that we have started negotiations with Mavi Gök Aviation to buy 10 percent shares."
