Intel’s revenue report exceeded the analysts expectations. The company's second-quarter earnings beat the estimates.
Intel (NASDAQ:INTC) said in its second quarter earnings report that its revenue exceeded the estimates. While the company said its revenue was $18.53B at $1.28 per share, analysts in Investing.com surveys had predicted the company would earn $1.07 per share and reach a total revenue of $17.8B.
During the year, Intel shares were up 12%. The Nasdaq 100 index, in which the stock is traded, rose 15%.
Taiwan Semiconductor reported revenue of $0.929 per share in the second quarter, with total revenue of $13.35B. Expectations were for revenue of $0.9296 per share, with total revenue of $13.23B.
Accenture company revenues also exceeded the expectations, with revenue of $2.4 per share in the third quarter for a total revenue of $13.26B.
Investing.com analysts had estimated $2.24 per share for a total revenue of $12.81B.
