Italy Demands Budget Flexibility from the European Union
Italian Prime Minister Giuseppe Conte said they would demand all the flexibility in the budget from the European Union (EU) due to the new type of Coronavirus.
In Italy, where 107 people have died in the past two weeks and the number of cases is 2 thousand 706, the new type of Coronavirus (Covid-19) has both informed the public and explained the methods of anti-virus with the video he shared on his social networking site Facebook.
"Our country is not facing a national emergency for the first time," Conte said that Italy will not surrender in this struggle.
Explaining that the coronavirus incident is not a political crisis, Prime Minister Conte said, "We are all on the same ship. Whoever is at the helm has to determine the route. We must make more efforts, we must do it together."
"Positive data is that most of the infected people are recovering in Italy," Conte said.
NEW MEASURES
On the other hand, Prime Minister Conte, who met with his ministers all day to discuss the emergency situation in the country due to coronavirus, signed the fourth prime ministerial decree, which envisaged a series of measures since the beginning of the crisis.
With the last decree that sets the virus not to be spread as a priority, all educational activities and educational trips for children and sports activities have been stopped until 15 March. In addition, while demonstrations, congresses, rallies, and cultural events were suspended throughout the country, it was recommended that the elderly and those with pathological disorders should avoid going outside.
