JPMorgan Assigns Two Female Executives to Senior Positions
JPMorgan Chase announced on Tuesday that it has promoted Two Female executives for the bank's senior positions.
According to this; Marianne Lake and Jennifer Piepszak will serve as co-chiefs of the Consumer and Community Banking Division of JPMorgan, the largest bank in the United States in terms of assets.
The two promoted executives are known to be potential successors to Chief Executive Officer Jamie Dimon.
Congratulating the two executives at the bank's annual meeting, Dimon, 65, emphasized that Gordon Smith, the current head of the department, will retire by the end of 2021.
The Consumer and Community Banking Division includes credit cards, home and automobile loans, in addition to consumer-business banking.
In short, this segment, which covers basic publicly available functions, accounted for about 40 % of JPMorgan's revenues in the last quarter.
Dimon, who released a press release on the subject, commented on the promoted executives: “We are fortunate to have two excellent executives, Marianne and Jennifer. Both are the best examples of our highly talented and deep management staff. These two friends, who have a successful working background, are well-respected executives in the financial industry for their character and skills. ”
The Company also announced that Jeremy Barnum, who is currently leading global research for the investment bank, will take the seat of CFO vacated by Piepszak.
