Kadyrov, Known to be close to Putin, Threatens Protesters
With the mobilization decision of Russian leader Vladimir Putin, citizens flocked to airports. As fleeing from the country increased, Chechen leader Kadyrov, who is known to be close to Putin, threatened and intimidated those who opposed or protested against the mobilization decision.
Reactions to Russian President Vladimir Putin's announcement of partial mobilization poured in from all over the world. Many people in Russia also took to the streets to protest the decision. Chechen leader Ramazan Kadyrov, known to be close to Putin, threatened to send anti-war protesters and their relatives to the front lines in Ukraine.
Chechen leader Kadyrov said,
"Some people write that it is necessary to oppose partial mobilization. Under these circumstances, no one should discuss Putin's decision, but only comply with it. That is why I urge all of you to stay away from these nonsense demonstrations."
The panic in the country following the Russian leader's decision continues. Finally, yesterday, the last seat of the plane from Moscow Domodedovo Airport to Antalya was sold for 650 thousand 859 rubles, that is, about 11 thousand dollars (200 thousand TL), while tickets continue to sell out very quickly. Those who wanted to cross the border from Russia formed long queues on the roads, and the border regions were overflowing with those who wanted to leave the country.
