Kudlow: I Don't Expect Tariffs To Be Delayed Because Of Virus
White House economic adviser Kudlow said in a statement that he did not expect the tariffs to be delayed due to the coronavirus.
The White House economic adviser noted that the administration had considered some deferrals on the nation's tariff, which was most likely to allow, but decided it was too complicated.
"There is currently no retraction in the tariffs,"
Kudlow said. He stated that special situations can be evaluated. Kudlow said that retracting tariffs would signal wrongdoing about U.S. President Donald Trump's trade policies.
Trump, the White House economic adviser on oil, said that talks on oil prices between Russian President Vladimir Putin and Saudi Arabian Crown Prince Mohammed Bin Salman will yield results.
