Labor Force Statistics Announced Labor force statistics have been announced. Unemployment figures for September have been announced. Turkey Statistical Institute (TURKSTAT) has announced the statistics for the month of September. According to the data, overall number of unemployed aged 15 and over in Turkey, in September  recorded a decrease of 550 thousand compared to the same period last year. Thus, this rate was recorded as 4 million 16 thousand. In the mentioned period, the unemployment rate decreased by 1.1 points and was recorded as 12.7 percent.   Non-Agricultural Unemployment Decreased Non-agricultural unemployment rate decreased by 1.5 percentage points and was recorded as 14.9 percent. In the mentioned period, the youth unemployment rate, which includes the 15-24 age group, decreased by 1.8 points and was recorded as 24.3 percent. In the 15-64 age group, the unemployment rate decreased by 1.2 points and was calculated as 12.9 percent.
