Limak Transferred Its Shares in Uludağ Elektrik
Limak transferred its shares in Uludağ Elektrik. The share sale agreement for the transfer of all shares was signed on September 30, 2021.

electricity distribution and retail sales activities in the Uludağ region, where Bursa, Balıkesir, Çanakkale and Yalova provinces are located, between Limak Investment and the international sustainable infrastructure investment fund Actis. The share sale agreement for the transfer of all the shares of Hizmetleri A.Ş. was signed on September 30, 2021.
According to the statement made by the company, the said share transfer is expected to take place after the approvals of the Competition Authority, Energy Market Regulatory Authority and other relevant conditions are completed.
Actis has 18 offices in different countries around the world.
Providing a fund participation of 24 billion USD from its investors since its establishment, Actis has an installed capacity of over 24 GW in the energy field with its portfolio.
Ebru Özdemir, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Limak Investment, made the following statements regarding the said share sale agreement:
"We have completed the negotiations with the British investment fund Actis for the transfer of the shares of Uludağ Elektrik for about a year, and we signed the share transfer agreement. I think this agreement is an indicator of the interest of foreign investors in Turkey's potential, especially in infrastructure investments.
