Liter Price of Gasoline Increased
The price of
gasoline per liter has increased. Accordingly, an increase of 0.17 TL was reflected on the pump.
Energy Petrol Gas Supply Stations Employers' Union (
EPGİS) announced that a 0.21 TL increase will be made in the gasoline price. While 0.17 TL of this increase was reflected in the pump, the remaining 0.04 TL increase was reflected in the tax.
Prices have been implemented since midnight last night. With the new price regulation, the price of gasoline was sold for an average of 7.10 lira in Ankara increased to 7.27 lira per liter. Liter of gasoline increased from 7.09 lira to 7.26 lira in Istanbul and from 7.15 lira to 7.32 lira in Izmir.
In addition, there will be an increase of 0.15 TL in diesel. All of this increase will be covered by the SCT with tax adjustments in accordance with the Eşel Mobile System. The pump will not be reflected in the sales prices.
How Are Fuel Prices Calculated?
Fuel prices are calculated by the refineries via inclusion of processed products in Mediterranean which includes Turkey and changes in the US dollar rate. As a result of this calculation, the prices applied by distribution companies may vary slightly according to companies and cities due to their competition and freedom.
