Low-Cost 5G iPhone Expected to Be Announced at Apple's Spring Event
On Wednesday, it was stated that Apple will host its annual spring event on March 8.
Apple usually hosts a total of three events each year to launch new products. The first of these events is aimed at launching the newest iPhone lineup in the spring, just before the shopping season.
The company is expected to launch a low-cost version of its popular iPhone with 5G, a new version of the iPad Air and a high-end Mac Mini.
Apple (NASDAQ:AAPL)'s senior vice president of marketing, Greg Joswiak posted on Twitter, said "Peek performance. March 8th. See you there."
The anticipated new phone will be the first update to the iPhone SE model in the past two years and is expected to have an improved camera and a faster processor.
Focusing on 5G technology, Apple has managed to meet the needs of its customers with its iPhone 13 flagship models, especially in this period when customers desire better connection speeds.
Apple, the world's most valuable company, overcame supply chain problems that crippled other industries and companies, which led to product shortages, and achieved record sales thanks to the popularity of its iPhones and careful planning.
Apple has been criticized for the potential of a small tracking device called AirTags, which it launched last year, to put users' privacy at risk.
