The company has not yet announced which digital currencies it will support. Details were clear when CEO Michael Miebach announced his quarterly report on January 28; Committed to integrating digital currency payments directly into the network, Ceo said they will provide customers and traders with maximum flexibility. Mastercard had limited support for cryptocurrency transactions through its crypto card partners Wirex and Uphold. However, these programs only included payment, not cashing. The new venture promises to increase this dynamic that will occur between the store owners and the businesses involved. Considering the buy-and-hold strategy that occupies the world's largest cryptocurrency, this doesn't seem like a very safe game.
