(MATRADE) opened an E-Gallery at Istanbul Sabiha Gökçen Airport to stimulate online trade. Based on the information received, the gallery space enables Malaysian companies from many different sectors, such as building materials, automotive and spare parts, rubber, halal consumption, and industrial products, to be introduced and connected to Turkish companies. Thus, an online bridge is established, where visitors can easily access detailed product and service information of Malaysian companies with a single click by scanning the QR code of the sector they are interested in, as well as instantly connect.
In the opening speeches, it was stated that "Distance does not matter in front of cooperation opportunities thanks to the E-Gallery platform, where visitors can easily access detailed product and service information of Malaysian companies with one click by scanning the QR code of the sector they are interested in, and also connect instantly."
With the Malaysia-Turkey Free Trade Agreement, which was implemented by Malaysia as a process and entered into force in 2015, the bilateral trade volume will continue to grow for the two countries, which are the gateways for their regions to the European and ASEAN regions.
Sazali Mustafa Kemal, the Ambassador of Malaysia to Turkey, said, "I believe that promoting commercial activities and strategic cooperation between Malaysian and Turkish companies by leveraging the power of the public and private sectors will accelerate the growth momentum of our economic ties and create tremendous effects for the business world from both sides."
