Apple users about iCloud phishing attacks. Popular Ethereum crypto wallet MetaMask made a statement on the subject on its official Twitter account.
Recently, MetaMask announced on its official Twitter account that with the version of MetaMask Mobile v4.3.1, iOS users can buy crypto with Apple Pay. This time, MetaMask warned users after a user stole $ 650 thousand.
MetaMask, owned by Ethereum-based developer company ConsesSys, has warned users to be careful as they could fall victim to phishing attacks. MetaMask made the following statement on the subject on its Twitter account:
"If you've enabled iCloud backup for app data, this includes your password-encrypted MetaMask vault. If your password isn't strong enough and someone gets your iCloud credentials, they can gain access to your money as well."
In addition, MetaMask added that customers can disable iCloud backups by turning off certain features on the platform.
