Minimum Wage Determination Commission Gathered
The
minimum wage determination commission has gathered. At the second meeting of the commission, the TISK delegation shared its views. Representatives of the Ministry of Treasury and Finance and the Ministry of Commerce presented economic data and reports.
The Minimum Wage Commission met for the second time within the scope of the negotiations to determine the minimum wages that will be valid in 2021.
Turkey Confederation of Employer Associations (TISK) shared their views at the meeting of the delegation with representatives of the Treasury and the Ministry of Commerce and Ministry of Finance data presented reports for the economy.
The second meeting in the works to determine the new minimum wage, which directly concerns about 7 million employees and indirectly all citizens, was held online within the scope of coronavirus measures, hosted by TISK.
The meeting, which lasted for about two hours, was closed to the press. Speaking at the meeting, TISK General Secretary Akansel Koç conveyed the opinions of the employers' sector.
Along with the situation in the global competition for the Treasury and the Ministry of Finance, the meeting also share data and reports on developments in the foreign trade of the Ministry of Commerce, Turkish Statistical Institute (
TURKSTAT) representatives also made a presentation.
The commission, which will convene for the third time, will meet again on Tuesday, December 22, hosted by Türk-Is.
