Minister Pekcan Made a Statement about Support for Exporters
Minister Pekcan made a statement about support for exporters. Trade Minister Ruhsar Pekcan said that they provide additional support to exporters.
Trade Minister Ruhsar Pekcan gave messages to exporters on her Twitter account. Pekcan noted the following:
“We provide additional support to the activities of our exporters, especially in countries with high potential in global trade. The Presidential Decision, which allows us to provide 5 points additional support within the scope of our target country/sector approach, was published today in the Official Gazette.”
In addition,
Pekcan said, “We will also support business development activities to be carried out in the digital environment within the scope of our support for the Development of International Competition, which is most effectively used by exporting companies, with another Presidential Decree published today.”
The Ministry of Commerce will add 5 points each to the additional support rates provided for the activities of exporters operating in the automotive, machinery, electrical-electronics, food and chemical sectors in target countries for 2021.
In this context, "Presidential Decree on Providing Additional Support to Target Countries for Activities in Target Sectors in State Supports for Exports of Goods" was published in the Official Gazette and entered into force.
With the regulation, additional support rates provided by the Ministry of Trade for exporters operating in the automotive, machinery, electrical-electronics, food and chemical sectors will be increased by 5 points each to support participation in the international fairs in USA, Brazil, China, Ethiopia, Morocco, South Africa, South Korea, India, Iraq, England, Japan, Kenya, Malaysia, Mexico, Uzbekistan, Russia and Chile which are determined as the target countries for 2021, the sectoral trade delegations they participate in, the rent payment of the various units they open for trade and the promotion and trademark registration expenses.
