Mona Lisa Protest Turned into NFT. The protest against the world-famous Mona Lisa painting by Leonardo da Vinci, which is exhibited in the Louvre Museum in France, caused quite a stir. A demonstrator dressed as a woman threw a cake at the painting to draw attention to environmental problems.
Speaking after the attack, the activist said, “Think about the world. Humans are in the process of destroying the world!”
The caked image of Mona Lisa broke the sharing records on social media. After the incident, a Turkish digital designer transformed the caked version of Mona Lisa into NFT.
NFT auctioned by the designer Can Aksu was purchased for 0.10 ETH ($193.57).
