More Than 50 Percent Of Tech Workers Trust Crypto
A recent survey by Professional Tech experts networking platform Blind revealed that 50 percent of professionals trust cryptocurrency and 57 percent currently own some.
The data was collected from a survey of 1,800 people over the past few days.
Respondents included employees of Twitter, Amazon, JPMorgan, and various other high-profile companies.
The survey asked participants if they trust the cryptocurrency, whether they own any of them, and whether they would accept payments in cryptocurrency as part of their total receivables.
"The most surprising result of this survey is that only half of the respondents trust cryptocurrency," said Fiorella Riccobono, lead researcher.
Said, "Given that companies like Tesla, PayPal, Square, and Twitter are all integrated into Bitcoin, I expected their employees to have more confidence."
Who trusts Crypto more?
Interestingly, the survey revealed that large bank employees rely on crypto more than those working in tech jobs.
For example, 90 percent of professionals at JPMorgan Chase&Co. and 70 percent of Goldman Sachs say they trust cryptocurrencies.
Only 52 percent of professionals at Amazon and 50 percent of Apple professionals trust cryptocurrency.
