Swiss-based food company Nestle will buy IM HealthScience. In the statement made by the company, it was reported that IM HealthScience, which produces food products for digestive and sleep problems, will be purchased.
Swiss Nestle announced that it has reached an agreement to buy the US-based company IM HealthScience.
In the company's official statement, it is stated that the acquisition will be made by Nestle Health Science, the subsidiary of the company, while no statement has yet been made regarding the amount agreed to purchase Florida-based IM HealthScience.
The Swiss food company announced that within the scope of the agreement, Nestle Health Science will take over the business of IM HealthScience, with brands IBgard, Fiber Choice, FDgard and REMfresh.
"IMH products provide proven and reliable solutions for nutritional management of certain digestive problems. They also offer a separate solution to regulate sleep," said Greg Behar, Chief Executive Officer of Nestle Health Science.
The products of IMH, founded in 2013, are put up for sale in the USA and Canada market. It was noted that the company will enter the markets of other countries after the transition to Nestle.
