New Record in Exports
Trade Minister Mehmet Muş stated that a new record was achieved in exports. "Our exports increased by 13 percent in August and reached 21.3 billion dollars. This figure is the highest figure realized so far."
Trade Minister Mehmet Muş stated that Turkey's exports in August amounted to 21.3 billion dollars with an increase of 13.15 percent compared to last year, and noted that the highest figures in exports were reached. Trade Minister Muş announced the August export data on his social media account. Noting that the highest August export figure of all time was reached, Minister Muş said, "In August, our exports increased by 13.15 percent compared to the same month last year and reached 21.3 billion dollars. This is the highest August export figure. Turkey continued its export records and achieved the highest monthly export value in the 8th month of 2022. Foreign trade volume increased by 28.39 percent to 53 billion 959 million dollars. Excluding energy and gold, the ratio of exports to imports was 91.6 percent. In August 2022, the number of countries to which we exported in TL was 164 and the number of companies exporting in TL was 6 thousand 439.
